Data provider onboarding process
A guide to partner enrollment
The data providers onboarding process is composed of three main aspects:
-
Onboarding to the HDA ecosystem: Identifying how to shape a relevant partnership and formalizing the necessary agreements to collaborate.
-
Onboarding to the data catalog: Working towards the first exchange of the data holders' metadata to include in the HDA's catalog.
-
Onboarding to the request process: Integrating into the data request process as facilitated by the HDA.
Depending on how the overall onboarding process is triggered, either the onboarding to the data catalog or to the request process can receive a higher priority. When the process is triggered to further complete the inventory of relevant datasets in the Belgian ecosystem, onboarding to the catalog will be the primary focus after the onboarding onto the HDA ecosystem. If the process is started to be able to include new datasets needed for ongoing data requests, the onboarding to the request process will be done first.
Note: No data preparation is necessary for data holders prior to starting the onboarding conversations with HDA.
