International Congress Of Research On Rare and Orphan Diseases

09H00 - 17H00

Description of the event

The RE(ACT) Congress and IRDiRC Conference 2025 will be a landmark event in rare diseases research, jointly organized by the BLACKSWAN Foundation and the International Rare Diseases Research Consortium (IRDiRC). Taking place from March 5th to 7th in Brussels, this gathering will unite global experts, researchers, and patient advocates to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and advance collaborative efforts in addressing the challenges of rare diseases.

Celebrating its 8th edition, the RE(ACT) Congress has been driving scientific collaboration in rare and orphan diseases since 2012. Similarly, the 6th IRDiRC Conference, established under the auspices of the European Commission and the US National Institutes of Health, continues to foster multinational cooperation among researchers, funders, and advocacy groups since its inception in 2011.

The 2025 edition will be further enriched by partnerships with the European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA) and Eurordis, creating an inclusive platform where patients and advocacy organizations will contribute invaluable perspectives alongside groundbreaking research.

This event promises to inspire hope and set new benchmarks in transforming rare disease challenges into opportunities, advancing solutions for the global rare disease community.
