Innovation Project Funding 

Looking for funding to contribute to the reuse of health data in an innovative way? Find out more information below and see if your project is admissible.

Our goal is to facilitate development and management of data in the health sector, enhancing the quality, affordability, preventive, and targeted healthcare for every citizen and patient.

Here you can download the necessary form to submit your innovative project proposals. Project submissions are accepted until the 22th of November via info@hda.fgov.be

We look forward to receiving your innovative proposals to advance healthcare data management and utilization.

Any organization or individual working within the health sector is eligible to submit a project proposal. We encourage collaboration and innovative approaches that transcend individual organizations to improve the health data ecosystem.

All submitted projects will be evaluated based on a set of criteria aimed at ensuring alignment with our vision and objectives. Submissions will first be evaluated, based on these criteria, internally. This list of projects will then be discussed with our user committee. Final approval of the selection will be provided by the governance board.

• Notification to project promoters: At the end of February 2025

Project Funding Overview:

The total available budget for this call is €500,000, which will be distributed among the selected initiatives. There is no predetermined number of projects that will be selected nor a maximum funding limit. The available budget will be utilized as efficient as possible.. The final budget allocation will depend on the specific needs of the projects and the number of proposals selected.

Project Duration:

Project duration is not limited but expected to be reasonable given the limited budget. Shorter projects are preferred.

Health Data Standards:

The HDA encourages projects utilizing or implementing international standards. No restriction or preference exists on the health data standard to be used in the projects.

Deadline for Submissions:

The deadline will be extended until Friday 22 November 2024, EoB.

Eligibility to Submit Projects:

Any entity is eligible to submit a project proposal. This includes associations, private organizations, public institutions, universities, and other relevant entities.
